Innovation Booster Robotics, in collaboration with Helbling, the Circular Building Innovation (CBI) Booster, and the Carbon Removal Booster, is organizing a hands-on workshop on scaling and implementing radical innovation, taking place on Thursday, November 27th, 2025, in Zurich. This interactive session will bring together experts and startups to explore key challenges and decision points in moving from prototype to commercial application, including manufacturability, compliance, supply chain strategy, and product quality.

Workshop Topics

This workshop will address the critical steps involved in scaling radical innovation from prototype to commercial readiness. Topics include:

  • Scalable manufacturing: How to ensure your product can be manufactured reliably and at scale.
  • Partnering for pilot production: What to consider when selecting a partner to build a pilot plant.
  • Regulatory compliance and certification: Which standards must be met, and when to invest resources into them.
  • Make-or-buy decisions: Identifying which components should be developed internally vs. sourced externally.
  • Product quality at scale: Ensuring consistent quality across multiple systems and units.

Participants will also choose one of the following breakout sessions, tailored to different scale-up paths:

  1. From lab-scale process to commercial plant
  2. From proof-of-concept to manufacturing
  3. From prototype to industrialization for mass production

Each session is designed to provide practical insights, risk awareness, and a roadmap for advancing innovation toward successful implementation.
